Playing on xbox live can be tough when it seems that everyone else in on level 70, but here are 5 tips and tricks that will help you rise in rank.
1. Scoping out the Scopes
All of the primary weapons have scopes that you can unlock after you get enough kills or headshots. The red dot scope is simple, just a red dot that makes shooting your target easier. The holographic scope is basically a more accurate red dot scope. The ACOG scope is the most accurate and will take a while to unlock.

2. Challenges are Your Friend
The easiest way to level up when you begin is to beat the challenges. For example, there is a fall 15 feet and survive challenge that you can get points for on almost any map. Don’t be afraid to switch out weapons in order to get the easy challenges that come with them, you can get challenges for usually getting 10 kills with the weapon, easy points.

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Remember that you when you crouch with the riot shield it covers your whole body, so feel free to charge the enemy while crouched. When you get close enough to them you can bash them with your shield by pressing right stick down. Also if you are crouched with your secondary out the shield will protect your back like a turtle shell.

4. C-C-C-Commando

Commando can be the most frustrating perk when it is used against you, which is why you should have it. The ability to have greater melee distance will save your life dozens of times when you get in close quarters and will pay off in the end. A good combo is to have the commando, marathon, and lightweight perks all on at the same time.

5. Fresh Batteries
The most devastating way to lose a match is by your controller dying right at the end. I always keep fresh batteries right by my TV in case my controllers batteries run out. This doesn’t apply to you if you have a wired controller.

6. Get a Mic
Communication is the line between winning and listening. Help your team by pointing out enemy team snipers and other critical information. Yes, you will have to deal with people you find annoying, but the pros outweigh the cons.
