10 Perk Tips for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

This article is going to give tips and tricks for “perks” in online multiplayer for the xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 2.

1. Marathon

Marathon lets you have unlimited sprint, good for when you are running while injured from an enemy. Being in constant motion is always a good tactic, but if you are a sniper I would not recommend this for you.

2. Stopping Power

Stopping power is a damage increasing perk and slows down your enemy when you hit them with bullets, making them easier to kill. It is an all around good perk and would recommend it to any player.

3. Commando

Commando extends your knifing melee reach, good for when you are going room to room or have surprise encounters with enemies. I would recommend this to most players that are running around, not snipers.

4. Hardline

Hardline makes kill streak rewards require one less kill. For example, a UAV only needs 2 kills and a predator missile needs 4 kills. Hardline is great if you are a risky player that has a shorter life span.

5. Scavenger

Scavenger refills your ammo when you run over an dead enemy’s weapon, useful in all occasions. This is one of my favorite perks and is really useful for any player.

6. Cold Blooded

Cold Blooded means that you are not seen by enemy UAVs, thermal scopes, air support, or sentry guns. This is incredibly useful in some cases but not that great in others. While everyone is inside waiting for the harrier strike to be over you can run out and shoot down the harrier, getting extra points.

7. Bling

Bling lets you have two weapon attachments. For example, if you are using the Scar-H, you can have a silencer and a red dot scope (assuming you have both unlocked). Very useful if you have a primary weapon you are particularly fond of.

8. Sleight of Hand

Sleight of hand is awesome for when you are in a battle with an enemy and you both need to reload. However, this problem doesn’t happen too often.

9. Copycat

Copycat lets you steal your enemies class, even if you don’t have their weapons unlocked. This is an alright perk, but definitely not my favorite.

10. Painkiller

Painkiller gives you a 10 second health boost right after you spawn. The only problem with the perk is that you sometimes spawn too far from the action.
